Today, our friend Daniel Richtman revealed on his Patreon that Sony Pictures has entered early development on an Uncharted sequel. The original film starred Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake and Sully. The film had the explorer aspect down but was still not exactly what many Uncharted video game players came to expect. The final scene teased that Nate’s dead brother Sam Drake (played by Rudy Pankow) was still alive in some prison for a potential sequel. It’s unknown if Venom director Ruben Fleischer will also return for the sequel. No writer has been announced for the film at this point either.
