Today, Variety announced that Disney will be developing a live-action Aristocats remake. The original animated film was released in the 1970s by the studio. While many fear this will be another Cats fiasco, it will most likely be more along the lines of The Lion King or Lady in the Tramp. Will Gluck (Peter Rabbit) and Keith Bunin (Onward) are set to pen the script. Gluck will produce the project under his Olive Bridge production banner.

Aristocats has no set release date
