Today, Warner Brothers officially released an upcoming look at their 2022 slate of films. According to the press release, Micheal Shannon and Antje True will return for the forthcoming Flash film starring Ezra Miller. The film, which will loosely be based on Flashpoint, will see Barry Allen as he travels to alternate universes to save his mother. However, it has repercussions throughout the DC Universe, including Bruce Wayne changing from Ben Affleck to Michael Keaton.

Nevertheless, Shannon and Traue return from Man of Steel as General Zod & Faora-al. It’s unknown how they will be introduced (unless they are an alternate version) as Zod’s neck was snapped, and Faora-al was sent back to the Phantom Zone in the original film. Andy Muschietti will direct the film with a script by Christina Hodson.

The Flash hits theaters November 4th, 2022
