‘The Rocketeer’ Sequel Moves Forward at Disney+


Today, Deadline announced that the classic film The Rocketeer is getting a sequel titled The Return of the Rocketeer. David & Jessica Oyelowo will produce the project for the streaming service. Scribe Ed Ricourt will pen the project, The report mentions that David Oyelowo could possibly star in the film. The original film was released in 1991 by director Joe Johnston based on the graphic novel from Dave Stevens. The new film plot is “A retired Tuskegee airman takes up the mantle of the Rocketeer.”
