Today, Collider announced that Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson will produce and star in an upcoming Disney live-action adaption based on the Tower of Terror theme park ride. The ride has since been converted into a Guardians of the Galaxy ride but was previously around since 1994.
Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley will pen the script for the film. This marks yet another theme park ride to get an original film after Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and this year’s Jungle Cruise. The film will be produced under her These Pictures banner with Jonathan Lia.
