Today, a new report announced that Mexican actor Diego Luna has joined the cast of Disney’s live-action remake of Tangled. Luna is best known for appearing in Netflix’s Narcos and, most recently, as Cassian Andor in the Star Wars universe. He is set to star as a new character created specifically for this remake. He joins Teagan Croft, Milo Manheim, and the great Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel. Michael Gracey is directing the film with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. Production begins later this year.
