Joe Cornish Tapped To Write & Direct Mark Millar’s ‘Starlight’ For 20th Century Studios

Today, Deadline announced that Attack the Block director and Ant-Man writer Joe Cornish has been tapped to write & direct Starlight for 20th Century Studios. The film will be an adaption of the Mark Millar comic book of the same.

The comic follows a hero that saves the planet and comes back to earth to tell his stories but no one believes him. He finally settles down and several decades later his rocket ship returns for one final adventure. Simon Kinberg will produce the project alongside Audrey Chon under his Kinberg Genre Films production banner.
