Earlier this month it was revealed that West Side Story newcomer Rachel Zegler joined the cast of Shazam: Fury of the Gods. She was expected to play the youngest sister witch in the DC Comics sequel. Now The Hollywood Reporter announced that Helen Mirren will play the oldest sister witch Hespera. Director David F. Sandberg returns to helm the project. Asher Angel returns as Billy Batson who transforms into the hero Shazam played by Zachary Levi.
