Matt Damon Secretly Joins ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Cast; ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Also Join

Today, it was revealed that Matt Damon had landed in Australia for a future film. He will now quarantine before being allowed on set. It was revealed that he will be returning for a role in Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder. Damon cameoed in Thor: Ragnarok as stage actor Loki during a re-enactment of Thor: The Dark World.

It’s unknown how large his role will be in the sequel but he will now join the entire Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Pom Klementieff) cast that have also joined the film. Christian Bale plays the villain Gorr the Godbutcher. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson return as Thor & Valkyrie. With Natalie Portman returning as Jane Foster. The film will be written and directed by Taika Watiti.
