Disney Eyes Nick Offerman as Smee in ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’

Today, The Illuminerdi announced that Disney has offered Parks & Rec star, Nick Offerman, the role of Smee in their upcoming Peter Pan & Wendy live-action film. He would join Jude Law as Captain Hook as they terrorize Peter & The Lost Boys. It’s unknown if Offerman accepted the role of Hook’s sidekick at this time. Peter Pan and Wendy Darling will be played by newcomers Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson. With Alyssa Alook playing the daughter of Native American chief Tiger Lilly. Finally, Yara Shahidi had been cast as Tinkerbell. David Lowery co-wrote the script and will helm the project. Peter Pan & Wendy begins production in March.

Peter Pan & Wendy will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2022
