Warner Brothers Developing a ‘Grindelwald’ Project For HBO Max (EXCLUSIVE)

Recently, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that HBO Max has put into development a project based on the Harry Potter character Gellert Grindelwald. As many are aware Grindelwald was feature as the film’s main antagonist in Fantastic Beasts 2 played by Johnny Depp.

He was revealed at the end of the first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to be Lord Percival Graves in disguised played by Colin Farrell. It’s unknown at this time if the project will be a series or movie. However, it would be interesting to see how Grindelwald became Lord Percival Graves. We wouldn’t be surprised if they recast the role for a young actor if the project indeed becomes a prequel series…
