‘John Wick: Chapter 4 & 5’ Will Film Back-to-Back

Today, during Lionsgate’s investor meeting it was announced that John Wick 5 has been put into development at the studio. The studio is looking to film the previously announced John Wick 4 back-to-back with John Wick 5. While economically this makes sense for the studio. It should also be noted that each installment of the action franchise takes place minutes after each other during a single week. So having the next two films film one right after each other also makes sense for the plot. Keanu Reeves is expected to return as John Wick himself.

It should also be noted a spin-off film is in the works focusing on a new character played by Chloe Grace Moretz in John Wick: Ballerina. As well as a TV Series previously in-development titled The Continental.
