Today, it was announced by Deadline that Upgrade and The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell has entered talks to helm another Universal Classic Monster film The Wolfman. The film is set to star Ryan Gosling but is a modern take on the classic story just like The Invisible Man. The film will be produced once again by Blumhouse in partnership with Universal Pictures. Leigh Whannell will write a treatment for the film while Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo (Orange Is the New Black) pen the script together.
