Today, Deadline announced that Henry Cavill has reignited talks with Warner Brothers about returning for the role of Superman in the future. While the report mentions that a Man of Steel sequel is not in the works (currently). The actor could show up in a variety of films including Shazam 2 (which featured a stand-in in the first film), Black Adam, or even Aquaman 2. Both Dwayne Johnson and Jason Momoa have personal relationships with Henry Cavil and have expressed interest in the character appearing in their solo films.

Recently, Henry Cavill crashed Zack Snyder’s viewing party of Man of Steel. This is where the director also announced his cut of the Justice League will indeed debut on HBO Max in 2021. It would seem finally things are turning around for the DCEU…
