‘Russian Doll’ Co-Creator Leslye Headland Developing Female-centric ‘Star Wars’ Disney+ Series

Today, Variety is reporting that Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland is developing an untitled Star Wars series for Disney+. The report states the series will follow a female protagonist but exist outside the main film series timeline. This means that it isn’t recently rumored Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson. Headland will write and showrun the upcoming project.
