Today, our friends over at MCU Cosmic revealed that Marvel Studios has begun early development on a Thunderbolts project. The idea has been around for a while with Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad director James Gunn mentioning he would love to take a crack at the property. The report mentions while a film is possible it could also land on Disney+ as a series.

With Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) returning in The Falcon and The Winter Solider. As well as Kevin Feige’s interest in possibly bringing back Jon Bernthal as The Punisher and Ryan Reynolds joining the MCU as Deadpool once again. One could only hope this leads to a Thunderbolts team-up down the road.
