Today, Deadline announced that screenwriter Jeff Loveness is set to pen Avengers: The Kang Dynasty for Marvel Studios. This comes after the studio officially announced the film at SDCC with director Daniel Destin Cretton (Shang-Chi). It makes obvious sense that Loveness would return for The Kang Dynasty after his work on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. That film is expected to officially introduce Kang The Conquerer (played by Jonathan Majors) to the MCU after his brief mention in Loki season 1. It’s unknown if he will return to pen Avengers: Secret Wars as that film is also slated to be released the same year.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty hits theaters May 2nd, 2025
