Today, a new batch of episodes of Avatar: Seven Havens has been released. The episodes show flashbacks to an older Avatar Korra with her wife, Asami, from The Legend of Korra era. During the series credits, it is revealed that voice actor Cia Court (League of Legends video game) has taken over vocing Korra from original actress Janet Varney. We at Knight Edge Media were the first to reveal that Avatar Studios wanted to recast all its voice-acting roles with actors of a similar ethnicity. Court is mixed-race, of Japanese and Panamanian descent. Janet Varney has also mentioned several times over the years that she doesn’t expect to return as Korra if the character ever appeared again.
