In 2018 when Netflix announced that a new live-action show based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, the internet erupted. The announcement also came with the first set of concept art from the shows conceptual artist John Staub. While that may be the only released conceptual piece from the upcoming series,; we can see why the artist was hired based on these 2016 drawings Staub did on his own. Recreating The Legend of Korra characters in live-action ethnically correct form. The pieces include Avatar Korra waterbending, Bolin earthbending and Suyin Beifong with her metalbending. This may also give us a small idea of how the clothing will be depicted in the upcoming series. Hopefully, we get more concept pieces of the official show very soon but in the meantime.
