Simon Kinberg Will Write and Produce a ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Reboot

Today, Variety announced that Simon Kinberg will write and produce a rebooted Battlestar Galactica film. Kinberg recently wrote and directed Dark Phoniex for 20th Century Fox. Kinberg was the main X-Men screenwriter throughout the earlier 2000s, as well as help write episodes of Star Wars: Rebels for Disney. The Batman and War for the Planet of the Apes producer Dylan Clark will also produce the reboot. Kinberg is not looking to directing Battlestar Galactica.
