Today, a new report revealed that British actor and singer Jamie Campbell Bower will officiallyplay Celeborn in Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3. Bower is best known for playing a villain in the Twilight films and, most recently, as Vecna in Stranger Things. The actor was announced early last year to be joining the cast in a top-secret role that many assumed would be Celeborn. The Elven lord of Lorien has been missing from the first two seasons of the show despite already being married to Galadriel by this time of the Second Age. It’s unknown how they will explain where he has been the entire time. The next question is where their daughter, Celebrian, is, as she should already be an adult by this time. Celebrian eventually marries Elrond and becomes the mother of Arwen.
The Rings of Power season 3 returns to Prime Video on November 11th
