Today, a new report said Michael B. Jordan has entered talks to produce and star in EA’s live-action Battlefield movie. The film is in development at Sony Pictures and will be written & directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible). It’s interesting that a Battlefield movie entered development around the same time as Call of Duty for Paramount Pictures. Jordan was once attached to a Rainbow Six live-action movie after appearing in Without Remorse, but that seems to have stalled. Jesse Stern of Electronic Arts, Carter Swan of Emerald Neon, Roy Lee and Miri Yoon of Vertigo, and Elizabeth Raposo of Outlier Society will all produce.
Battlefield has no set release date
