Today, Avatar Studios held its very first Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. The panel included a deeper look at their first feature-length film, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, and its release on Paramount+ this Saturday. The panel brought the cast and crew on stage to talk about the film. However, at the end of the panel, they had a special reveal for their next animated series, Avatar: Seven Havens. The series follows the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, focusing on a new earthbending hero named Pavi and her twin sister, Nisha.
The series will be executive produced by original creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko alongside producer Ethan Spaulding and co-executive producer Sehaj Sethi. The cast includes Saheli Khan as Avatar Pavi, Aishu Devan as Nisha, Akshay Khanna as Captain Karthik, Major Curda as Jae, Sakina Jaffrey as Agam, Darren Barnet as Daemin, Dianne Doan as Zi, and the return of Dee Bradley Baker as the monkey-cats Geet and Ruhi. We at Knight Edge Media were the first to speculate that Saheli Khan could be in the running for Avatar Pavi and Major Curda could be in the running as her airbending mentor Jae back last year. The announcement also featured the first teaser trailer for the animated series. Finally, all 26 episodes of the first two books of the series will be dropped simultaneously on Paramount+ to binge-watch. Screenwriter M. Willis from the writers’ room posted on their personal website that they helped write 2 more seasons of Seven Havens in 2025, but that has yet to be officially announced.
