Screenwriter Mike Flanagan Will Help Develop ‘Warhammer 40,000’

Screenwriter Mike Flanagan has already written outlines for a Warhammer 40,000 live-action adaption.

In 2022, actor Henry Cavill officially announced he had begun work on a passion project, Warhammer 40,000. The actor has played the tabletop game for decades, and he was finally going to develop it into movies and TV shows alongside Prime Video and Games Workshop. Now, during a financial report by Games Workshop, CEO Kevin Rountree reveals horror writer Mike Flanagan (Carrie, The Exorcist) has written outlines for the project and will soon move to writing a script. Flanagan is attached to a multitude of other projects, including currently directing a new Exorcist film. He also confirms Henry Cavill is still very involved despite being radio silent on the project.
