Today, a report announced that actress Kathryn Hahn has entered early talks to join the cast of the Tangled live-action movie. She would join the previously announced cast of Teagan Croft (Titans) as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim (Zombies) as Flynn Rider. Hahn has long been a fancast for the role of Mother Gothel, though the studio first looked at Scarlett Johansson for the role before she passed. Hahn is best known for her role as Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but has been a mainstay in comedy for years, including Parks & Rec, Step Brothers, and most recently Glass Onion. While Hahn will no doubt crush the role, it seems like an incredibly safe typecast for the film. Production begins this June in the UK.
