Over the Christmas break, the highly anticipated Oscar film Marty Supreme hit theaters. The film is making its rounds for the Academy Awards, starring Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow. While promoting her latest film, Paltrow was asked on Good Morning America whether she is expected to return for either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars following Robert Downey Jr.’s return as the evil Doctor Doom, “Avengers: Doomsday? What’s that? I don’t know. I’ve never… I’m not sure I’ve heard of that one.” However, DanielRPK has revealed that she has already filmed scenes for Avengers: Doomsday, which completed production in late 2025. She will also return for Avengers: Secret Wars, which begins production later this summer. We at Knight Edge Media have also heard that Paltrow will indeed return for both films. Ironically, Paltrow mentioned being done with the Marvel Universe following the events of Avengers: Endgame in 2019 (via EW).
Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18th, 2026; Avengers: Secret Wars hits theaters on December 17th, 2027
