Earlier this week, actor Ryan Reynolds posted a cryptic image with a spray-painted Avengers logo on social media. The image was used in last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine by those trapped in The Void to mock The Avengers of the MCU. Now, a new report has announced that Ryan Reynolds will indeed appear in Avengers: Doomsday as Deadpool once again. The report also states that they don’t expect him to join The Avengers, though it’s possible he joins a rumored “Exiles” team stuck in The Void alongside Loki, Wolverine, and Gambit. Other characters rumored, though not announced for the team, include Sylvie, B-15, Mobius, and X-23. Though that is just speculation. Production has been underway since April in the UK.
Avengers: Doomsday is slated to hit theaters on December 18th, 2026
