Today, a report announced that writer and director James Gunn has begun writing a “Super-Family” crossover movie for DC Studios. While the characters that will appear in the film are under wraps, it’s expected to be a sequel to Superman and next year’s Supergirl. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering how well Superman has been doing since last month and the excitement surrounding Milly Alock’s version of Supergirl. The director has been teasing the project on social media for about a month, but confirmed it is not a direct Superman sequel. Fans are hoping that they may finally introduce Braniac into a feature film that would feature both Superman and Supergirl.
