Today, a report announced that actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Lily-Rose Depp will star in Robert Eggers’ upcoming Werwulf movie. The two appeared in Eggers’ last film, 2024’s Nosferatu. The report states that while Taylor-Johnson is currently signed on to star, Depp is still only in talks as his wife. Taylor-Johnson is also best known for appearing in Kick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Kraven the Hunter. While Depp is best known for her role in the critically panned series The Idol. Werwulf is described as a werewolf horror film set in 13th-century England and is set to feature Old English dialogue. Production begins this September.
Werwulf is slated to hit theaters on December 25th, 2026
