A casting call has gone out for the lead role of Carrie White in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming Carrie remake TV series.

Today, we at Knight Edge Media have learned that a casting call has gone out for the lead role of Carrie White in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming Carrie remake TV series. The series was announced in 2024 by Prime Video and will be showrun by Mike Flanagan after his work on The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass on Netflix. It will once again be based on the popular Stephen King novel.

Patrick Cahoon is the casting director for the upcoming series. Multiple actresses have played the role, most recently Chloe Grace-Moretz in the 2013 film. Production begins this June in Vancouver, Canada.
