Today, a report revealed that Amazon is looking at actresses Milly Shapiro and Samantha Sloyan as the two leads in the upcoming Carrie TV series remake. We at Knight Edge Media revealed that open casting began two weeks ago for the lead role of Carrie White. Shapiro is best known for her role as a child in the horror film Hereditary. After working together on Midnight Mass for Netflix, Sloyan would reteam with writer Mike Flanagan. In that series, Sloyan played Bev Keane, a role that was remarkably similar to Margaret White. The mini series is eight episodes long and will begin production in Vancouver in June.

Carrie has no release date on Prime Video
