Amazon MGM Acquire ‘James Bond’ Film Rights For $1 Billion

Amazon MGM has officially purchased the film rights to the James Bond franchise.

Today, a report announced that Amazon MGM has officially purchased the film rights to the James Bond franchise from the family of Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. The duo have relinquished their stake in the franchise after 50 years of James Bond films for $1 Billion. The most recent film was No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig as 007. They were in the process of rebooting the franchise once again, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson rumored to take over, but that will be scrapped going forward.
