Last night, Sony Pictures held a panel at CES in Las Vegas for their upcoming live-action projects in development as either movies or TV shows. They announced that a live-action adaption of Horizon Zero Dawn had entered early development. This will be a different version than the previously announced Netflix series and will be a full-length feature film. The series was in early development by showrunner Steve Blackman before getting shelved due to his on-set accusations last July. No writer or director has been attached to the new project.
