Yesterday, we at Knight Edge Media revealed the first plot details for the upcoming Avatar Studios series following The Legend of Korra. The details included the state of the Avatar Universe and some minor descriptions of the new female Avatar, including her feline animal guide. She can only communicate with Avatar Korra (originally voiced by Janet Varney) as her spirit guide due to Korra severing her connection to all past Avatars in The Legend of Korra.
We at Knight Edge Media were able to receive some more exclusive information from the upcoming series. The sequence we have seen is the first time the Earth Avatar meets her future Airbending companion. In the scene, we learn that the Earth Avatar’s name is Pavi, and she seems to be very young in this scene (maybe 10). She has a hood and is running down the streets of the new “haven” region called Elora City. She runs directly into an older teenager named Jae. She earthbends a pillar, and he begins to airbend, but the pillar launches her onto her animal guide, Geet. Geet is a feline but is a combination like all animals in the universe as a Cat-Monkey with long arms when fully extended. The two run off together through a city gate as Jae runs after them.
Pavi is an East Indian name, which means she could be of South Asian descent. This also means more East Indian/Pakistani influences will be making their move into the Avatar: The Last Airbender animated universe after first being introduced in the Netflix live-action series. We should note that her final series name could be changed from the original pilot, such as Katara, who was originally named Kya (ScreenRant). Though the name Jae was used in an animatic, we have had access to it with voiceovers attached, which could mean his name will most likely remain the same throughout.
The untitled Earth Avatar Series has no set release date for Paramount+
