Idris Elba Next To Join Amazon’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ Live-Action Movie

Today, a report announced that actor Idris Elba has joined the ever-growing cast of the Masters of the Universe live-action movie. He joins the previously announced cast of Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn. He is set to play the character Man-at-Arms based on the Mattel action figures and cartoons. Travis Knight will direct the film, with a screenplay by Chris Butler.

Masters of the Universe is slated to hit theaters  on June 5th, 2026
