Director Mike Flanagan Developing Another ‘Carrie’ Remake At Amazon

Today, a report has announced that director and writer Mike Flanngan is developing yet another remake of the classic Stephen King supernatural thriller Carrie. The original film was made in 1976, starring Sissy Spacek, then in 2002, starring Angela Bettis, and again in 2013, starring Chloe Grace Moretz. This is expected to be an 8-episode mini-series and debut on Prime Video. This would be part of Flannagan’s first-look deal with the streaming service after leaving Netflix. Trevor Macy will be the executive producer of the series alongside Flannagan.
