Today, a report has revealed that Ben Mendelsohn is set to reprise his role as Orson Krennic in Andor season 2 for Disney+. He originally appeared in 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set after the events of Andor. Ironically, earlier this year the actor revealed he wouldn’t be returning but has since turned course. While speaking to Mexican director Alonso Ruizpalacios on his latest film, La Cocina, the director revealed that while working on Andor earlier this year, he got to work directly with Ben Mendelsohn alongside Stellan Skarsgård and Forest Whitaker. Not realizing that he gave away the character’s return directly after the original denial by Mendelsohn. The report also states he could appear towards the end of the season.
