Today, a report has announced that Warner Brothers is reteaming with director Zack Snyder on a 300 TV series. The exact plot is being kept under wraps but is expected to be a prequel to his 2006 film. The film 300: Rise of an Empire came out in 2014 from director Noam Murro and was more a semi-sequel from an original story by Snyder. While the film’s first act is a prequel, the final act of the film is more of a sequel to 300. It’s unknown how connected that film will also be to this series, but Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton, and Bernie Goldmann will return to produce. The original film was based on the Frank Miller comic of the same name.

300 TV Series has no set release date
