CinemaCon 24′: ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ Sequel In Development At Universal Pictures

Recently, during Universal Pictures‘ CinemaCon presentation, the studio officially announced a sequel to Five Nights At Freddy’s. The original film had a day-and-date release in theaters and on Peacock. The sequel has been rumored for months online, and several other possible sequels are also in development. Blumhouse Pictures will once again return to produce the film. Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard are expected to return for the sequel, though that is not confirmed.
