Sony’s ‘The Karate Kid’ Adds Joshua Jackson, Ming Na-Wen and Sadie Stanley

The upcoming Sony Pictures film The Karate Kid has been rounding out the cast over the last month. The film will star Ben Wang as the new Karate Kid but will meet Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan as Daniel LaRusso and Mr. Han. A new report has revealed that Joshua Jackson (Fringe), Ming Na-Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), and Sadie Stanley (The Goldbergs) have all joined the cast. Sadie Stanley is expected to play the love interest of Ben Wang in the film. Jonathan Entwistle will direct the new film.

The Karate Kid is currently slated to hit theaters on December 13th, 2024
