Today, The Cosmic Circus announced that actor Jeffrey Wright is expected to return as Utau, The Watcher, in a future MCU project. The report doesn’t state which project he could appear in but doesn’t rule out anything. Wright originally voiced the comic Marvel Comics character in the animated series What If? for the studio.

Ironically, Comicbook.com just spoke to Wright last week during the press tours for Asteroid City, where the actor teases we could see him as The Watcher in live-action form. The obvious possibility would be in Loki season 2 as it deals with more of the multiverse as compared to The Marvels or Echo.
