Paramount+ Puts ‘Galaxy Quest’ TV Series Reboot Into Early Development

Today, Deadline announced that Paramount+ has put into early development a Galaxy Quest reboot series. The original film was released in 1999 and was a spoof on the series Star Trek shows of the time. The film starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, and Sam Rockwell, No writer or directors are attached to the project at this time. Mark Johnson will produce the reboot via his Gran Via Productions.
