DC Studios Casts Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. in ‘Creature Commandos’ Animated Series

Recently, actor Frank Grillo made known he had left the Marvel Cinematic Universe for DC Studios after his time as Crossbones. Today, The Wrap has revealed Grillo has joined the cast of Creature Commandos animated series as Rick Flag senior. Rick Flag was originally played by Joel Kinnaman in both Suicide Squad films. Grillo will first voice his father in the animated series but also crossover and play the character in live-action form at some point. James Gunn has already written the first season.
