Today, Deadline announced that Emma Corrin has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming multiverse road trip film Deadpool 3. Their casting is only the second of the upcoming raunchy superhero flick after Hugh Jackman decided to return as Wolverine one last time alongside star Ryan Reynolds. Corrin is best known for their breakout role in season 4 of The Crown as young Diana Spencer. Corrin’s exact role is being kept under wraps but expected to be the movie’s lead villain. The studio has been trying to work out a deal since the holidays as Corrin’s schedule began filling up following her Emmy nomination. Shawn Levy was tapped to helm the project from a script by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese.
