Amazon’s ‘The Rings of Power’ Season 2 Adds 7 To Cast Including Sam Hazeldine as Adar

Today, Amazon Studios announced that seven new actors have joined the cast of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2. All the characters are being kept under wraps just like in season though Sam Hazeldine (Knightfall) has also joined as Adar, originally played by Joseph Mawle. The rest of the cast includes Gabriel Akuwudike (Hanna), Yasen Atour (The Witcher), Ben Daniels (Jupiter’s Legacy), Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle (Persuasion), and Nicholas Woodeson (Rome). J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay return as showrunners on the 5-season series. Production is already underway in the UK instead of New Zealand.
