Today, our friends over at The Illuminerdi (and then confirmed by Variety) revealed that actress Aubrey Plaza has joined the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. It’s unknown who she will be playing, but it could be another witch in Agatha’s coven or a villian. Plaza is best known for appearing on Parks & Rec in the early 2010s but recently has gained Emmy attention for Legion and The White Lotus. Ironically, she also voices a witch on the FX adult comedy Little Demon. She also appeared in the 2017 film Ingrid Goes West alongside Elizabeth Olsen. Kathryn Hahn returns as the title character Agatha Harkness. She first appeared in last year’s WandaVision series on Disney+. Production is expected to begin fully in early January 2023 in Atlanta.
