Today, Variety announced that Lucasfilm is eyeing developing an Indiana Jones series for Disney+. This comes from the news that Harrison Ford will be hanging up the character after next year’s Indiana Jones 5 feature film. The report suggests it could be a prequel series about Indy’s time in the boy scouts from The Last Crusade, played by River Phoenix. A spin-off series about young Indy was also released on USA in 1999 starring Sean Patrick Flanery. No writer has been attached to the new series.

Indiana Jones will stream exclusively on Disney+
