Today, Deadline announce actress and singer Isabela Merced has joined the cast of Madame Web. The Spider-Man spin-off film will already star Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, and Celeste O’Connor. She is best known for Transformers: The Last Knight, Instant Family, and Dora. and The film is expected to delve deeper into the Spider-Verse set up in Venom, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless return from Morbius to pen the script. Production begins later this summer.
