Emma Roberts Is Next To Join Sony’s ‘Madame Web’

Today, Deadline announced that actress Emma Roberts has joined the cast of Madame Web at Sony Pictures. She is best known for her roles in Scream Queens and American Horror Story. The Spider-Man spin-off film already has an ensemble cast that includes Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, and Tahar Rahim. It’s currently unknown what their roles will be in the film as the plot is being kept under wraps but will feature the live-action Spider-Verse. Which will connect Venom, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter together. S.J. Clarkson is set to direct the film from Morbius screenwriters Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Production begins around the Boston area next month under the working title Claire according to The Patriot Ledger.
