Today, director Todd Phillips announced on Instagram he has finished the screenplay for the Joker sequel alongside writer Scott Silver. The post included a picture of the script’s cover and the film’s title Joker: Folie à Deux. Which translated literally means “shared madness”. The post also showed star Joaquin Phoniex reading the sequel’s screenplay. Heroic Hollywood had a report earlier this year that the film may start production in early 2023.

Joker: Folie à Deux has no set release date
